The Red
Three-layer Lightfold cassette recalling a climbing trip to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky, assembled from one photograph and two translucent clear-plastic layers that separate the scene into text layer, climber, and cliff face. The staggered layers create a slow parallax reveal as you move, bringing out the sweep of sandstone, the pocketed texture of the wall, and that suspended, mid-move feeling that sticks with you after a day on the rock. The composition stays restrained and photo-led, letting the sense of place and memory carry the piece.
